This Pop-Top Extrusion Kit #1 (up to 4.0m x 2.4m) has been specifically designed for pop-top roofs measuring up to 4.0m in length and up to 2.4m in width. As it is tailored to the Australian market, it’s the perfect choice for anyone working with DIY Composite Panels. Moreover, its high-quality powder-coated finish, available in either white or black, ensures both durability and aesthetics.

 

What’s Included in Kit #1?

This kit contains everything needed for your pop-top roof project, except for the aluminium angle required to secure the roof panel in place. Here’s what the kit includes:

• Top Extrusion: 2 x 4.0m lengths
• Top Extrusion (to be cut in half): 1 x 4.8m length
• 4 x Top Corners
• Bottom Extrusion: 2 x 4.0m lengths
• Bottom Extrusion (to be cut in half): 1 x 4.8m length
• 4 x Bottom Corners
• 4 x Stainless steel brackets to suit bottom corners
• Rivets

 

Important Installation Information

When installing this Pop-Top Extrusion Kit #1 (up to 4.0m x 2.4m), it is important to note a few key factors. Firstly, when calculating the lengths of top pop-top profiles, you can allow 25mm for each corner joiner depth.

Secondly, make sure the bottom pop-top profiles go all the way to the corner to ensure a tight and secure fit. Please refer to the installation instructions for further guidance on cutting and fitting your pop-top kit.

Additionally, if you’re calculating the weight of the pop-top kit for canopy lifters, we recommend allowing 3.3kgs per metre length of pop-top kit around the perimeter. This includes both top and bottom extrusions, ensuring an accurate weight measurement.
