DIY Caravans Returns Policy
DIY Caravans has specifically loaded detailed information relating to each product on the website to allow customers to have confidence the product they select is what they require. Returning product is difficult and expensive and we hope to avoid it wherever possible.
- For standard items, DIY accepts returned goods as long as:
- a) you notify us within 3 days of receipt of the product
b) request a Return Authority from [email protected] be sent with the goods
c) the goods are received in perfect unused condition in the original packaging at the specified supplier’s address and
d) you will be expected to pay the freight fee and will be re-imbursed the product cost
If for any reason you have ordered the incorrect items, we offer a fourteen (14) day (from delivery date) exchange policy, subject to the goods being returned in unused, perfect condition, with the original packaging still intact. No returns will be accepted unless a “Return Authorisation” number has been issued by DIY Caravans. Customers must meet the cost of return freight on correctly supplied goods.
You can request a Return Authorisation by contacting us on [email protected] include your reference number or invoice number in any correspondence to DIY Caravans. Any returns (or requests to return goods) after the fourteen (14) days will not be accepted.
When returning goods, the customer is responsible for the repackaging of the goods as they are in your care until they arrive at the warehouse. Please obtain proof of posting/delivery from your local post office or courier service. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. From the refund you will be charged the suppliers 10% returns fee and DIY Caravans will also charge a 10% returns fee.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for larger items. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
2.For items that are made to order for the customer, such as composite panels, it will not be possible to return the goods. DIY Caravans encourages customers to check and double check the details of their order before placing it to ensure the product you receive is exactly what you require.
