Panel Design

Composite Panels from Manufacturer B are supplied “as pressed” only, meaning:

• So standard panels have a 1.6mm skin on each side, resulting in a total thickness of approximately 29 mm.
• Insertions and CNC cutting facilities are not available. Therefore, customers will need to cut off any excess material to achieve the desired dimensions.
• Skin widths are either 2150 mm or 2400 mm, which will be the width of your ‘as pressed’ panel.
• Allow for some FRP misalignment or glue residue; it is advisable to cut at least 50-100 mm for the final panel width.
