The Dometic CaraD Caravan Door is meticulously designed with safety in mind. Unlike other caravan doors, which traditionally use the outer panel for safety and the inner mesh only for air circulation, the CaraD door features two safety-tested panels. Specifically, the inner panel includes a safety mesh that can support the weight of an adult. Consequently, you can let air into your caravan while keeping your valuables secure.

Furthermore, the outer panel, available in either safety glass or aluminum, includes a fully tested latching system. In addition, the unique four-point locking system prevents the door from swinging open during travel. Optional built-in vents provide excellent air circulation in compliance with LPG regulations.

Other convenient features include a built-in roller blind and a dark tint for the lower glass panel, a built-in magnetic door latch, and a chrome easy-grab handle design.

 

Specifications:

This caravan door measures 1750 mm in height and 622 mm in width, and is designed for wall thicknesses of 27-28 mm and 35-36 mm. The range is available in 5 models with various options:

• Choice of Black Tinted Safety Glass or White Aluminium Outer Panel
• Available with Left or Right Hand Hinge
• Options to include or exclude a vent

For caravans and RVs with a flat floor, you will also need to purchase the Dometic CaraDoor Lower Trim to ensure a proper fit.
