Here, you will find all the essential information regarding the proper Gas laws labels labeling and signage of your gas system.

First and foremost, Clause 10.3.1

requires a general warning sticker to be prominently placed near a gas appliance. This sticker is available in the RV Merchandise Catalogue under item C-5A. Additionally, Clause 10.2 and 1.3.17 call for a “Warning Label” that is legible, durable, and permanent, to be visibly placed in the controlled area surrounding the cylinders. The RV Merchandise Catalogue offers a metal plate for this purpose under item C-7. It is important to note that some manufacturers have received non-conformance reports from regulators for using vinyl stickers, which are considered unsuitable.

Moreover Gas laws labels, every vehicle must have a gas compliance plate as per Clause 10.1.

This plate must be metal, durable, UV-resistant, and corrosion-resistant, with legible letters of at least 4mm in height. The placement should be visible and prominent. This plate is required for new installations, as well as for any modifications or additions, and it can never be removed. For any subsequent certification following a modification, an additional plate is necessary. This plate is available in the RV Merchandise Catalogue under item C-5G.

Furthermore, Clause 3.3.5

requires the gas cylinder compartment to be clearly identified, specifying the size and color of the font. This item is available either as a metal plate (item C-6) or as a sticker (item C-6S) in the RV Merchandise Catalogue.

Another crucial detail is Clause 7.7

which mandates a vent warning label stating that the vent must remain open and clean. The font size must be at least 4mm, and it must be placed beside both the top and bottom vents (see ventilation section clauses 7.4.2 and 7.4.3). This label is available in the RV Merchandise Catalogue under item C-5D.

Additionally, Clauses 3.3.1 (i) and 3.3.2 require a warning label inside the gas locker with a font size of 10mm. This label can be found in the RV Merchandise Catalogue under item C-5F.

Clause 6.15

also requires a label with a 5mm font beside the caravan door. This label is available in the RV Merchandise Catalogue under item C-5H.

Lastly, Clause 6.11.4

requires a prominent warning label that is permanent and durable. This label is available in the RV Merchandise Catalogue under item C-5C. Additionally, another label is required adjacent to the cooker and must be clearly visible, with a font size of at least 4mm. This label is available in the RV Merchandise Catalogue under item C-5B.
